Elizabeth is a Google Certified Teacher-Administrator, Sony Education Ambassador, Academic Technology Specialist and Teacher in the San Francisco Bay Area. Elizabeth started as a crossing guard and moved on to work as an Elementary school instructional aide for regular education and special education students. She did this as she earned her university degrees from California State University, East Bay. Elizabeth was a writing tutor at CSU, East Bay before earning her English and Psychology degrees.
Elizabeth taught all levels of English, from remedial to Advanced Placement and acting as Newspaper Advisor, Mock Trial Coach and English-Language Arts Curriculum Leader. She then earned her Master's in Educational Leadership and now am an educational leader, focusing on curriculum and instruction, special education, data analysis and educational technology.
She now holds the following distinguished honors: Google Certified Teacher, CUE Lead Learner, Sony Education Amabassador, ISTE (International Society for Technology in Education) SIGILT (Special Interest Group: Innovative Learning Technologies) Professional Development Chair, Lead 3.0 Conference Planning Committee CUE Representative (Lead 3.0 is a California state-wide conference, collaboratively produced by CUE, ACSA and TICAL), and FableVision Ambassador.
She has an unquenchable thirst for learning and increasing access for all students. She loves her family (which includes her dog and cat), all music and making toys into empowering tools for all learners.
